In the last years GEGANTERS OF VALLGORGUINA are been present in diverse occasions in mass media to the carried out salary a series of novel initiatives within the world of the bigheaded giants and, with the intention to be able to make it more attractive.

The projection of our Organization became patent of special way in 1999 when they were published but of nine hundred forty million coupons of the O.N.C.E. with our name, within the series, realised completely by GdV, denominated "GIGANTES DE ESPAÑA" and that lasted of three months. "the marche of giants" it has taken to us to carry out other initiatives, like the one to realise "Way of Santiago" taking to shoulders during one hundred forty kilometers to our giant "l' Avi" , to travel to the Carnival of Olinda (Brazil), to participate in celebrations of giants in Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Portugal, France, .....

In the following pages there are a brief compilation of information and images that, as a brush-stroke, illustrate our activities that have been more outstanding, and the carried out effort by all the people visualizes who conform the group.

The Organization has like sister to the giant of "Carnival Troca Barbapapa", of Olinda (Brazil), the giants of "Real e Ilustre Cofradía de la Santísima y Vera Cruz" , of Caravaca (Murcia) and those of Sant Lluís (island of Menorca).

We are the godfathers of the giants of "Colla Gegantera" of "Centre Català" of Mendoza (Argentina), those of the "Compañía de Gigantes de Leganés (Madrid), “the Pirate” of the group “El Drac d'Or”, of l'Hospitalet de Llobregat and "Cebrià" the giant of the district of Montbau in Barcelona.

Our giant "l' Avi Montassell, flabiolaire of Vallgorguina" it has like godfathers the giants of Morella (Castelló) and Barberà del Vallès (Barcelona).
