Landmarks

Throughout these years, moved by the illusion and desire to pass it well, we have obtained many landmarks within the world of the giants, and that been left engravings in our memory of imborrable way.

Next we mentioned the main ones:

June of 2009: They visit Vallgorguina groups of giants of diverse localities of Costa Rica.

Of the 21 of October to the 4 of November of 2007: Trip to Costa Rica and participation in activities with the giants in the localities of Cartago, Barva de Heredia, San José and Orosí.

21 of May of 2006: Participation in the First Encounter of Giants carried out in Madrid.

1 of May of 2006: Participation in Encounter of giants in Steenvoorde (France, next to the Belgian border). Encounter that it is only celebrated every six years.

From the 2 to the 19 of December of 2005: Trip to Nicaragua and participation in Encounter of Giants in Corinto, Leon and Nagarote.

17 of September of 2005: Presentation of the three African giants incorporated our group (coming from Gabon, Guinea Conakry and Nigeria).

10 and 11 of September of 2005: Participation in the "Encounter of Giants" of Miranda de Ebro (Burgos).

29 of June to 3 of 2005 July: Participation in Encounter of Giants in Pinhal Novo (Portugal).

16 of July of 2004: Participation in the "Traditional Parade", within the acts of the Fòrum of them Cultures of Barcelona.

13 and 14 of September of 2003: They participate in our Giants Celebration, along with others, groups of giants coming from Belgium, France and the Balears islands.

2 and 3 of August of 2003: Participation in the celebrations of Llucmaçanes-Maó (island of Menorca - Balears).

14 and 15 of September of 2002: Celebration in Vallgorguina of the Giants Encounter, with the participation, for the first time in Europe, of giants coming from Brazil and the presence of the giants of the group of theater "Comediants", that 35 years ago they did not march past.

17 and 18 of August of 2002: Collaboration in the organization, and participation, in the commemorative acts of the giants of Alcala de Henares (Madrid).

12 to 26 of February of 2002: Participation, like first giants come from Europe, in the parades of "giant bonecos" within the Carnivals of Olinda and Recife (Brazil).

12 of August of 2001: Supported of the giants of Leganés (Madrid).

4 of February of 2001: Advising to the organizers, and participation, in Giants Encounter, in the occasion of the Celebrations "Decennals" of Valls (Tarragona).

30 of September of 2000: Participation in the Slope of Giants by the Ebro river.

23 to 29 of September of 2000: Participation in the Celebrations of Sant Lluís (island of Menorca - Balears) and Supported with its group.

16 of September of 2000: Act of foundation of the International Circle of Friends of the Giants.

26 of July to 8 of August of 2000: Route of last the 120 kilometers of the "Way of Santiago", crossing all Galicia our giant "l'Avi Montassell" to shoulders, the first travelling giant of the world, which was exposed within the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela thanks to a special permission of its Cathedral Town hall.

2 of July of 2000: Advising to the organizers, and participation, in the Ceremony of Closing of Pre-Mondials of "Roundup" in celebrated brave waters in Sort (Lleida).

29 of April of 2000: Collaboration in the organization, and participation, in the "National Encounter of Giants", conducted in Caravaca de la Cruz (Murcia).

11 of April of 2000: Apadrinamiento of the Giants group of "Centers Català" of Mendoza (Argentina).

3 of June of 1999: It leaves first the 59 coupons on sale that form the series of the denominated O.N.C.E. "Giant of Spain", prepared and developed completely by our Organization.

8 of May of 1999: Advising, and participation, in the "II National Appointment of Friends of the Giant", organized by the City council of Valladolid.

24 of April of 1999: Supported with the giants of the "Real and Illustrious Brotherhood of the Santísima and Vera Cross", of Caravaca de la Cruz (Murcia) and first group of giants in visiting that Autonomic Community.

29 of December of 1998: Collaboration in the organization, and participation in Gijón in the exhibition "Giant and Bigheaded", in charge of the Municipal Foundation of Culture.

5 of August of 1998: Collaboration in the organization, and participation, in the First Encounter of Giants carried out in Sort (Lleida).
